Trump’s Republicans are showing cracks

Soon after Trump took office in his first terms cracks might have become visible not only for his own party, but all of MAGA (Make Autocracy Great Again?). Some Republicans might already noticed Trump's erratic behavior, paired with self-concern. Behavior which not only scared allies away, but hurting the U.S. economy. But nobody publicly voiced concern.

When in his first terms Trump's behavior and some actions were held in check by the Congress and House, with Republicans failing to also deal with Trump. But in his second term he had pretty much free reign over U.S. politics. This must have upset some, if not the majority of Republicans and MAGA goons, but they pretended all is normal, some praising Trump's "accomplishments", which many will acknowledge were step backs from the goal they were designed to accomplish.

Republicans must have been under immense stress to keep quiet working under a lunatic with erratic behavior and possible onset of dementia. I can imagine the speaker of the House Mike Johnson fights to not vomit while telling lies and praising Trump. So do other slimers and ass kissers like Pam Bondi inside the MAGA cult. They can't hear any more of Trump's lies how he ended almost ten wars with countries which don't exist or weren't at war, while bombarding Iran and threatening to start covert actions in Venezuela. There are so many more absurd things Trump does, forcing Republicans apparently loyal to him to swallow their vomit and hide facial expressions once Trump drops another absurdity. Trump still things he is messiah, a king (sparking the "No Kings" rallies in 2025), patriot or hero, at least wants to project these images in public, while even Republicans know he's a poor sod, dement failure and even danger for the USA and her security to be so self absorbed.

Trump is too concerned with himself, his ball room and gold in the Oval Office, as well as with deportations (ICE) and sinking alleged ships with drugs off the coast of Venezuela. Babbling frequently about annexing Greenland, the Suez Canal and making Canada the 51st US State. He ignores more pressing domestic things, like higher cost of living (food prices and the cost of energy increases exorbitant) paired with an increase of the inflation. Things Trump promised to deal with. But instead of admitting his failures and actually do something about it, he just excludes some foreign products and tries to sell the then lower prices for coffee or produce from Latin America as victory, while Trump was more like to set the house on fire and then dousing flames in a single room and declaring himself a hero.

Many Republicans know that Trump is a dement conman and would like to see Trump being replaced by someone with more focus on the American people. Which would also help the MAGA community to distract the public that MAGA is only helping them (the top 10 % of the Americans) to become insanely rich by funneling revenue from the tariff war into tech companies, crypto and stocks, while the ordinary American is in the best case scenario allowed to just be able to pay for rent and food.

Cracks show in MAGA

Reason for Republicans silence might be the loss of power. The loss of wealth. They came yes men because they know that if they stand up against Trump he is going to retaliate, and retaliate bad. Remember the feud between Trump and Elon Musk early 2025? While Musk is the richest man on earth as result Trump stripped Musk of his political influence, sort of banned him from the White House. Visit Marjorie Taylor Greene. She was one of Trump's vocal supporters. Praising him, even spreading conspiracy theories, like earth quakes were caused by humans. But in November she cracked. Greene publicly criticized Trump for focusing on foreign policy rather than fixing domestic problems, and trying to block the release of the Epstein files. Soon after Trump announced he'll drop the support of Greene, later insulting her with saying "Marjorie Taylor Brown" because "Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!". That weekend Greene wrote in a post "I believe in the American people more than I believe in any leader or political party and the American people deserve so much better than how they have been treated by both sides of the aisle", and that she fears Trump is gong to make an example of her. That didn't stop her from doubling down, demanding the release of the Epstein files. Amazingly Trump made a 180° turn and said he will support the release.

Greene's career might end after this. But if it doesn't, this might just have been the first domino stone to fall, and other Republicans having a "coming out" and tell what they really think about Trump and his politics. Should that happen, and enough Republicans voice public concerns about Trump, he will have to resign. Because otherwise America is taking a blow it might not recover from any time soon.

The USA needs a strong president, especially in this time the free world is threatened from imperial forces in East Asia, not a weak whip like Donald Trump, who puts himself before everything, living in a dream bubble where he saves the day and is the hero, while reality couldn't be much different. The U.S. President needs to server the citizens, not himself or a community for the rich.

Trump needs to get replaced! I don't care if a democrat or republican is the next leader, unless it's someone from MAGA like Rubio or Vance.
