Trump is finished

Trump's days are probably counted, and an impeachment might be imminent. MAGA has to act, or the mid terms will end in a disaster GOP will not soon recover from. Trump has done so much damage over the past year, that he has to go if the Republicans want to survive 2026.

I love to watch Trump babbling to the press when he is in the Airforce One, in cabinet meetings or at rallys, because he just can't stop bragging how good he is and the good things he has done - when the opposite is the case, or threatening someone he perceives to be weaker. Donald Trump is the text book definition of a bully. But instead of producing advantages for him and MAGA he is constantly shooting himself in the foot, and Government figures like J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio don't dare to tell Trump to shut up his babbling mouth. Those Government officials are afraid of their boss. So afraid they even wear the shoes Trump got for them after wrongly estimating their shoe sizes, resulting shoes being to large and uncomfortable to walk in with cameras spreading embarrassing images and videos all over the world.

I just love to watch Donald Trump making himself a clown. And he can't help to stop doing this. In fact no one can, not even people of his government.

MAGA is like earth's crust

So far MAGA has absorbed a lot of punishment and pain created by Trump's clownish behavior, with Karoline Leavitt among others desperately trying to "correct" Trumps absurd statements. I almost feel sorry for her.

But to me MAGA is like the fragile crust of the earth. And magma keeps boiling underneath with increasing pressure. If magma boils to strong, it will rapture earth's crust, manifesting itself in a volcano. And some these "MAGA volcanos" have already erupted. Take Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former America First, distancing herself from Trump, because she no longer sees that the President would put America first, as he promised his voters.

Trump bluffed to eliminate a whole civilization

After in April of 2026 Trump threatened to eliminate a whole civilisation, if Iran would open the fucking Straight Of Hormuz, the world (oddly) stopped its breath, while I thought that has to be a bluff. Because Iran didn't blink, but instead escalated, slapping Trump a 10 bullet plan right into his face. A plan which would allow Iran, among other things, to keep enriching uranium (to eventually build an atomic bomb to drop on Israel and the USA). Then, after briefly opening the straight, blocked it again, because Israel continued to bomb Hezbollah. So the "fucking" straight was still blocked - and nothing happened. Trump didn't execute his threat to wipe out an entire civilization. Instead he used Iran's proposal, which includes demands none of the US could ever accept, as "base for negotiations". Trump was desperately searching for an off ramp, or Trump Ramp some people say, and took Iran's proposal. It was just another bluff of Donald Trump. As it likely was with annexing Greenland in 2025.

Mid terms in danger to be lost to Democrats

After Trump threatened to wipe out a whole civilization, members of the MAGA community surely must have panicked. Since then more cracks are showing in MAGA. After Greene also Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, former staunch supporter of Trump and the America First Movement position themselves against Trump: More volcanos erupted, and one wonders with a super volcano is about to go off. With the mid terms looming and not being able to have Trump to shut up there is a real danger to lose the election. It's not just his big mouth, but he longing to make more money and his love for autocrats. He tried to sell China advanced "AI chips" which would had enabled the country to better train its AI, subsequently to better perform in a future conflict. He wanted to sell them to get 25 % of the revenue NVidia would make. He also loves Russians dictator Putin so much, that when asked for a comment that Russia might supply intelligence for Iran, he didn't bother. He didn't bother that American soldiers might die because of Russia helping the party the US was at war with, and that military material worth billions is destroyed. With that, Trump became a security threat!

MAGA has to do something has to be done, or they might soon be history.

Impeach Trump

Many at MAGA will think that Trump has to go if they want to survive. They could try to get him to resign because of "health issues". But as we know from Joe Biden, who was urged to resign after a poor TV performance, that will especially not work with Trump, because Trump being Trump. Thus the 25th Amendment might become handy. It needs a two third majority in Congress and the House to impeach the sitting president, if he is deemed to be unfit to lead the country. Republicans can be sure that all Democrats will support an impeachment, but they have to get at least one third of their own to support it. Because other option than to invoke the 25th Amendment, like a coup, seem not feasible, as the USA is not a banana republic. At least not yet.

Republicans need to hold secret sessions, probably remote, to not arouse suspicion in Trump. May be at a weekend when Trump tries to play golf. Then surprise him the moment the amendment is executed.

After Trump

My guess is that even with Trump's impeachment GOP will not win the mid terms. They'll put on a leach until 2029. And while GOP might try to reverse course to appease voters, these might think of the Republicans as weak doing a U-Turn just before the elections, and vote for the Democrats. It will takes years for the Republicans to recover from the mess Trump created in less than two years before his impeachment.
